    Hey guys, I haven't messed with my sky3DS for at least a good 6+ months now. I'm just wondering what the latest firmware on the New 3DS with the most current version of the sky 3DS still works good and if people are still getting banned when taken online. Thanks for any and all info :)

    wouldn't nintendo be able to detect that the chip id doesn't match the header? for example, using the header of SSB with a chip id of a different game.

    Does the chip id not need to match the private header? wouldn't that be something nintendo can detect? so if i use a private header for SSB, with a chip ID of some random game, wouldn't that tell nintendo that I'm using the sky3ds?

    Only mhu4 and majoras mask. Only other game I've tested is Pokémon Sapphire with the same chip id and private header and it works just fine

    I'm able to write the game to the microsd card just fine, but when I pop the game in, the logo pops up and when I press A to start, I get a message on the bottom screen that says the game card can not be read.

    Well since they are banning people, wouldn't it be safer to have a chip id to match the header while online?

    Why wouldn't the chip id need to match the header? And anyways, no ban no sky automatically changes the chip id.

    MHU4 is also not working. It's says the same thing when I press A to start the game: the game card can not be read. The wifi was off when I tested it out. Pokémon Sapphire has the same header and chip id and works fine.

    So I just downloaded zelda, updated my template with a chip id and private header, wrote it on the sky3ds and then popped it in. The logo popped up with the 2 second audio, but a messaged followed that said "the game card can not be read." Does anyone know why? The wifi was on at the time

    So reading through this thread, line 2 is the chip id and line 6 is the header? Looking at the above example for luigi mansion, the chip id is supposed to have 8 digits, but on line 2, it has more than 8 digits. What's going on?
