Wouldn't that make this the EU release, not the US release?

Apparently you didn't see the other 2 pictures, which shows nothing more than a gray DS running the kiosk software.

Can anybody confirm if an unflashed DS can run demos downloaded from a flashed DS? There's an anime convention coming up soon and I don't have a costume ready, but I can become "Mobile DS Download Station Man" if it works.

Xenogears had more action sequences and a more down-to-earth combat system. Xenosaga was very heavy on the cutscenes (more cutscenes that gameplay), has a more obscure combat system, and little variety in the soundtrack. I don't know about Xenosaga II though since I never played it.

Misc FRIEND CODES: Metroid Prime Hunters

You do realize just how easy it is to kill turrets, right? Besides, go after the top half instead, the turret's useless if it just sits there.

Hey, Yu-Gi-Oh is a pretty fun game. I don't care for the cartoon and all its cheesiness, but the card game is like an arcade version of Magic. If people really think that players act like the characters in the cartoon and yell "Yu-Gi-Oh!" before a match and believe in the heart of the cards...

The WTC is symbolic of the 9/11 terrorist attack. Rightfully, this symbol should not be flaunted around because it is a symbol of terrorism. Much like I wouldn't drape a Nazi insignia on the front of my house (unless I was using the swastika instead of the Nazi symbol which is a swastika inside...

For the most part, the game is pretty good, but I've noticed certain issues: 1. Slowdown when there are too many enemies on the screen at once. It doesn't happen often (only a few rooms actually house that many enemies) but when it does happen, it's quite annoying trying to clear the room if...

Well, sometimes the Chinese name is different than the English name. Hence why I wanted to point out that it was directly translated to Yoshi's Island rather than Yoshi's Communist Party Land or something.

Translated name would be "Yoshi's Island".

Shougi is Japanese chess. It's played similar to regular chess with 2 exceptions: you can 'promote' your pieces by flipping them over once they've crossed a certain point on the board, and if you capture an enemy piece, you can place it on the board as one of your own during your turn. Hence...

It's a decent shooter that got not-so-decent reviews (as most shooters do by mainstream reviewers). It's lacking in several departments though, such as being able to change your weapon without having to tap the screen and somewhat bland gameplay (uninspired enemies, few obstacles, no power-ups)...

Hacking "Nintendo DS gets RAM Beef Injection" (cart pix)

The DS comes with 4MB of RAM, more than enough for developers to take advantage of. Opera probably requires a memory expansion because web pages hold a lot of images which just eats up RAM. But for games, 4MB is enough given the DS's CPU.

If you have a M3, make sure you turn off the software reset option with Game Manager 3.0b.

I dunno...it sold 1 million copies in Japan. Good thing you don't work for a game company.

The more I play this game, the more I dislike it. I've been playing a lot over WFC and everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, uses either Ichigo or that girl that's too short to hit using high attacks. Whenever they use Ichigo, they use that stupidly powerful super that turns Ichigo into some sort of...

Well, one thing to keep in mind is that I'm not a big fan of Treasure games. Gunstar Heroes for Genesis was fun but the GBA remake fills the screen with so many explosions that it's hard to see anything else. I didn't like Ikaruga because I like danmaku shmups better. Astro Boy: Omega Factor is...

Frankly, I find the game very underwhelming. Slow combat (battles take around 5 minutes, sheesh!), a combo system that doesn't feel smooth, and bland character moves (most specials are absolutely useless) make this a very mediocre game. WFC with Japanese people lag like crazy for me too. My...
