Thanks, you should remove the link now since apparently it's not allowed.
This YAWMM manager doesn't have an option to select IOS58 at startup... It has IOS57 and others, what should I choose?
But you need to be connected to the internet in order to install IOS58 with this and I can't do that without being able to access the System Settings. :(
Thank you.
I've tried to start the process with installing BootMii but trying to run the HackMii installer from HBC just gives me this message and it won't do anything:
"This software must not be sold, neither alone nor as part of a bundle. If you paid for this software or received it as part...
I guess I want to try switching back to PAL then.
Just double checking the process before I actually start installing stuff:
1) I install HackMii from the link in your second post and use it to install BootMii as boot2. That secures my Wii from bricking.
2) I install the cIOS from your first...
That video is the first thing that shows up when you google the Opera error so I already installed AnyRegion Changer. However, it shows the mismatch warning if I select Europe as the Console Area Setting and the warning disappears if I set it to USA. Below that, it says "Installed Region: U", so...
I think it's called a semi-brick because the only problem my Wii has is that I can't access the system settings. HBC loads and it runs USBLoader, Retroarch, Snes9x etc, it's just all out of date as it hasn't been updated in years. So I'm trying to figure out how to regain access to the system...
I don't think I do, if I select BootMii from the Homebrew Channel, after pressing the Home button, the screen goes black and I have to shut the console down. Would you happen to have working links for setting this up? I definitely want to make sure my Wii is secure from bricking before trying...
So years ago when the modding scene was obviously very different, I got the Homebrew Channel up and running. Along the way I've somehow apparently managed to switch the System Menu on my PAL Wii (white, GameCube ports) to US, because when I try to enter the System Settings I get the infamous...
I know RetroArch now works good enough to run DKC2 on New 3DS in 60fps but all I have is an old 3DS XL, any chance SNES games run good on that? I've tried blargSNES and Super Mario World seemed to run great but some other games wouldn't even start.
I'm using an older version of Rx Tools on a old 3DS XL. I want to delete a installed .cia, should that be done from system settings in emuNAND or sysNAND?
I had to go back to a previous version of rxinstaller.nds because the newer one (the one that doesn't make you choose 4.X or 6.X) wouldn't launch RxTools after selecting DS profile. My sysNAND is 4.5.
Great, thanks! Some more beginner questions if you don't mind: What else do I "lose" if I don't unlink emuNAND and sysNAND? Only having to unwrap stuff all the time? And is switching from Pasta simple otherwise, by copying everything before making emuNAND and pasting it back after making it I...
OK, thanks. I'm right in thinking I should replace steps from 5 to 7 with running rxinstaller from the flashcard then?
One more question. I've been reading about emuNAND and apparently once you set it up in case you don't want to unwrap everything installed every time you boot it you need to...
I'm thinking about upgrading from 4.5 Pasta to this. Looking at the guide from this thread ( https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-switch-from-pbt-pasta-palantine-cfw-to-rxtools-sig-patched.390624/page-7#post-5533387 ) I'd just need to do the last two steps, create emuNAND and set up everything for...
I don't need to enter the eShop, I'd just like to play online without worrying that it'll automatically update the firmware since Pasta is running on sysNAND.
So I turned Automatic Software Downloads and Sending of System Information both off from the System Settings, I should be good to go? The game does have the latest game update so it should work?
if they get permission from 4j (the studio who helped put minecraft on consoles), they could put the console edition tutorial worlds in the game, as seeds
and i mean all of them (if not, maybe a few highlights, like TU1, TU31, and TU69)
