    I also had a black screen with fw 9.9 during downgrade with menuhax, then plaisysupdater always froze on 'hax init', my solution, I used another entrypoint (cubic ninja).

    Don't do this. It will brick your console, GW blocks native_firm update. You can use RxTools DEV MODE + sysupdater, there is a guide for this.

    But the fw limitation still active? Source : 9.0-9.5 <---> Target : 9.0-9.5 Source : 9.6-9.8 <---> Target : 9.6-9.8 When I did my system transfer (months ago), i had downgrade my O3DS emunand from 9.6 to 9.5, for transfer to N3DS sysnand 9.0, with NTR debugger spoof trick.

    I have a similar issue on GW, Codename steam EUR always boots in english, despite my setting language is spanish in a USA console.
