Hacking WiiFlow won't run Wii Game from SD Card.

Hey there, it sounds like you set yourself up for problems with that hard drive set up. Basically here is the deal. You need to treat the Vwii part of the wii u as standalone, separate. If you think of it that way, you realize your limitations and what may or may not be possible. What I mean...

Hacking WiiFlow won't run Wii Game from SD Card.

A kind of funny coincidence is I am actually starting to load more and more off of the sd card instead of the usb drive because of how fast things load and there is less compatibility problems with some loaders versus running off of usb. Moral of the story is you probably made the best...

Hacking USB LOADER GX 3 - Wii games suddenly stop working

If it is indeed a spindown issue, which would actually make perfect sense, please post the model of your Hard Drive Thales so that we can look it up and see if there is a firmware patch that can be performed to turn off the spindown that the hard drive ships with. Some hard drives with...

Hacking WiiFlow won't run Wii Game from SD Card.

Great to hear it worked! Yeah beta52 is a bit more friendly sometimes, but don't be too dismayed, you can install both beta52 and 53 and simply point your loader to whichever slots you installed to. For example, in the guide...

Hacking WiiFlow won't run Wii Game from SD Card.

Hello! Are all 4 of the USB ports on your Wii U being used? Most people , or at least it is recommended, have two separate hard drives for the Wii U and the vWii. 1 dedicated for Wii U content, 1 for vWii along with the SDCard required to load apps. I am not sure if USB Loader GX Supports...

Hacking Attemping to Compile and run Sneek for vwii

I really hate to double or triple post but I am just updating my problem for anyone in the future who experiences similar issues as I outlined. After moving my sd card content to a faster SD Card (class 10, rated 30 MB/s) I then also went into Wiiflow and set up WiiFlow to force load cIOS 249...

Hacking Attemping to Compile and run Sneek for vwii

What I decided to do in the interim until I figure out the SNEEK situation is I am moving to a 32GB SD Card now that is class 10 rated at 30 MB/s. I am going to see if at least Wiiware and VC loads faster from the Emunand on this SD Card from within Wiiflow since it is a "faster" sd card. I...

Hacking Attemping to Compile and run Sneek for vwii

This is what I originally tried but this is what happens when I try to run wiiware or vc games from my USB disk in a emunand folder as opposed to the sd card: 1. Select Wii Emunand. 2. Choose Wiiware or VC game. 3. Select Play. 4. Screen goes black for about 15 seconds and I see the USB drive...

Hacking Attemping to Compile and run Sneek for vwii

I am a long time lurker and I often simply search out information in hopes others have experienced similar situations and follow the help that has been given to them. However in this case, I haven't found any information. And with the 5.2.0 patch that was just released, the situation might be...

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Slightly slower loading but a bit more convenient
