Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

I'm looking for something I can run within dd-wrt itself, so I don't have to have a computer running to run a cycler. And I tried to look at those scripts myself: I can't make heads or tails of them.

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Yeah...been trying to find/figure out a MAC changing script myself. I got a new router (the D-Link DIR632, because it is highly recommended for Homepassing) and I have yet to find any scripts that actually do what they're supposed to. I'm going to say it...Duke's script seems way too...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Thank you Krisztian! I guess the reason I didn't see my problem from anybody else is because I have yet to find a script that automatically cycles through MAC addresses for me. I've been manually changing the MAC address with my DS closed so I could wait for the green light to go on, open my DS...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

How does that work if you can't receive any passes when your gate is full? Well, my streetpass light doesn't go off, at least. Maybe I'm still getting passes in the background but my 3DS is trying to trick me into thinking that I'm not receiving anything.

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

I don't know why, but I went ahead and updated my Mii Plaza about a week ago. Ever since the update, my homepass situation has changed for the worse, was just wondering if anybody else was having the same issues as me. Before I used to be able to cycle through numerous MAC addresses and get...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

I know that some wireless adapters/cards can't send out a wireless signal while also receiving another. That's why it's nice to have a LAN cable connected so that the wireless only has to focus on the homepass signal. I've also heard about some people having 2 separate wireless devices in...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Ok that's what I thought. I guess for now I'll keep trying to find a way to write a command in dd-wrt that checks the current wireless MAC address and changes it to another accordingly.

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

I know sometimes I'll get "6 passes" from an address but only get 5 actual Mii's because one of them was tagged twice. Their Mii will high five your character for the number of new passes you're getting from them. If you're not getting repeats then I'm not sure what would be causing such a...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

So the script that Snailface provided can be put directly into a dd-wrt router? If you couldn't tell already, I'm extremely confused about how/where to install all these different scripts I keep hearing about. (or if it even applies to my current homepass setup)

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Is it my understanding that this program runs on a computer, and not on the router itself? I really don't want to keep my computer on at all times. Also I run Windows 7, not Linux. I'm specifically looking for a script that I can put into the dd-wrt web interface under Administration >...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Before my homepass router was set up I had a LAN cable connecting my computer to the main router (the one connected directly to the modem). I simply unplugged the end going into my computer and plugged that into my homepass router, then used another LAN cable that went from the homepass router...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

I have a functional homepass relay (using a Linksys router flashed with DD-WRT) but I have yet to find a way to cycle through Mac addresses automatically. I tried Duke's script but it doesn't appear to do anything. I recall reading that the script does not work for micro builds, and my dd-wrt...
