Hacking Install Updates for Out of Region Games

So a bit of an update, the patch is definitely on my 3DS because I can look it up in data management. However, neither the cart nor a dumped version will read it for some reason. Really not sure why, everything I've read states you only need the latest version. Is it because this is an import...

Hacking Install Updates for Out of Region Games

Do they have a guide or something? I got the update and installed it but for some reason, the game didn't seem to recognize it at all.

Hacking Install Updates for Out of Region Games

So I finally got EmuNAND going, largely because I imported a game a while back and most of its features are missing without updates. I downloaded said updates and installed them via FBI only to discover... the cart doesn't want to read them at all. My question is this: is there a way to get...

Homebrew Official [Download] Decrypt9 - Open Source Decryption Tools (WIP)

Sounds pretty foolproof! I've still got everything backed up from yesterday and haven't gotten to make changes so that's what I'll do. Thanks again! EDIT: One last question, I'm sure it's obvious but do I need to go through Homebrew Launcher on SysNAND to do the restore and delete Menuhax all...

Homebrew Official [Download] Decrypt9 - Open Source Decryption Tools (WIP)

Solid! So I can just restore the backup, then rerun EmuNAND9 as instructed in that tutorial, then TinyFormat, etc. etc. and all will be kosher?

Homebrew Official [Download] Decrypt9 - Open Source Decryption Tools (WIP)

Just to be clear, if I've backed up my original SysNAND with EmuNAND9 before creating EmuNAND and using TinyFormat, I can restore that NAND with Decrypt9 right? And then redo the EmuNAND and use TinyFormat to wipe the SysNAND once again? Using this guide, hopefully that makes sense. I...

    Homebrew Problem to restore backup

Not to hijack the thread, but say someone did have a backup of their 9.2, preformat. Would one use Decrypt9 to restore that NAND? Is that going to be an issue if EmuNAND has already been set up? And can you remake your EmuNAND from said backup?

    Homebrew Update: 10.6.0-31 Homebrew Status

Asked this in another thread, didn't get a response: I'm running into this issue where I can't open the eShop at all on 10.5, but I've read reinstalling the starter pack will help. What can be done for games like Smash Bros and Fire Emblem Fates that access the eShop from the game itself? Is...

Homebrew Can't access old eShop with Browserhax?

I'm running into this issue too, but if reinstalling the starter pack will help, what can be done for games like Smash Bros and Fire Emblem Fates that access the eShop from the game itself? Is there a work around for that or do we have to wait for an update to 10.6?

Homebrew {Help} Custom Eshop Spoof not working

Well hot damn, that's good news. Thanks! Assuming payloads need updated, right?

Homebrew {Help} Custom Eshop Spoof not working

Is *hax working on 10.5? AFAIK, it's not and I'd rather cling to that then download a demo I wanted to grab.

Homebrew {Help} Custom Eshop Spoof not working

Getting a yellow bottom screen when I try to use the eShop spoof, even after following the tutorial above. I'm on 10.4, New 3DS XL gonna guess it got blocked?

Homebrew Restore Saves after 3DS Repair

Bad news: They sent it back to me updated, to 10.4-29. No downgrading for me... at least for now. Good news: SD card worked just fine! Backing things up and getting homebrew running once again. Thanks for the help guys. :)

Homebrew Restore Saves after 3DS Repair

Looks like I may not have lost my saves after all and jumped the gun (sorry! will know later tonight) In any case, would it be smart to get my NNID linked with both sysNAND and emuNAND/do you have to do that for NNID to work on emuNAND? Just wanting to know what would work best.

Homebrew Restore Saves after 3DS Repair

Looks like that extdata dump won't work unfortunately. Guess my question now is this: would it be easier to just downgrade and get emuNAND setup before signing back in with my existing 3DS and downloading all of my old games, or should I go ahead and get my 3DS back in order first with my old...

Homebrew 3ds extdata dump and restore tool (extra data editing!)

Sorry, bit of a noob. Basically, I have save files for a bunch of games on the extdata folder on my SD card. Because I was unable to dump it on the original system it was on, can I use this program to dump the contents of that folder, decrypt it, and then reencrypt it for use on the new system?

Homebrew 3ds extdata dump and restore tool (extra data editing!)

I made a thread about this and with some help, was able to find this! My question is this: I had to get my 3DS sent off for repair and whenever it was sent back, the main board was replaced. The problem I'm running into is I will need to redownload all the games I have and will lose their save...
