Hacking Wii U Pro Controller to PC program release

I'm afraid so. Well, the WUPC program works with pretty much anything, as all it does is map directly to keyboard keys. The xinput files work only with certain things that can recognize 360 controllers.

Tried that. Never got it to work. The xinput way seems simpler to me and is analog too. =P As for how you get xinput to work in PCSX2, just add the xinput files from this thread into the installation directory of PCSX2, run the x360ce application (from the same directory), save and exit (only...

Hacking Wii U Pro Controller to PC program release

I think there's been some misunderstanding here. There are two programs. The first is the WUPC program that maps to only keyboard keys and mouse. The second is the xinput files that make games that use xinput recognize the Pro Controller as a 360 controller. The latter works with PCSX2, and I...

They seem to be analog. I get the xinput files to work with it, so they should be.

I can confirm that it works perfectly with PCSX2. Dolphin doesn't seem to recognize it however.

Yeah. Thanks. I haven't explored Dolphin that well, and I've tried mouse emulation on another game, which worked fine, but for PJ64, it wasn't quite like native. But yeah, I'm not really in a hurry or anything, so just gonna keep my eyes peeled for the adapter.;)

Yeah. That works, of course. But kind of need analog. =P Might wait for that WUPC to USB adapter, if it's real.

Has anyone been able to use this with Dolphin and Project 64? It doesn't detect it. The only thing that I've been able to make it work with is Metro, and I installed that almost just to test. =S

Don't check YBAX. =P Either use Use Defined Buttons to set what you want for the stick or don't use the right stick at all, I suppose.

The purpose of that function is to mirror ABXY on the right stick. If you check "Use Defined Buttons" instead, you can set it to whatever you wish.

The analogs work as digital inputs only, so same as buttons, but they can also control your mouse pointer. No lag at all in my experience. Never had to charge my WUPC so far, since getting it last year, so I would say no. I tend to use it mostly for older games/emulators. With newer games, you...

It seems the slider sets the interval of the rumble, so yeah, I guess. It's not a big issue really. Just want analog support and then this would be perfect really. =P

You don't need Smoothboard with the WUPC. It's only used for the Wii Remote. Did the same mistake myself at first. =P Hm, I've tested it with ZSNES myself and have experienced no such thing. Are you sure rumble is unchecked as well as set to 0 in Effects?

Try reconnecting/reopening the app. It was like that for me when I first opened it too.

This is great, though it doesn't seem to save custom button configs after closing and reopening the app. Great job on this though. Been wanting to use it on PC since it came out.
