    Videotopia

I'm in Rochester and have been to this exhibit many times. HIGHLY recommended. Yeah the games still take tokens, but you do get a good deal on them, and most machines only take one token to play (some of the premium games take 2). Besides the few that you get free, there are trivia kiosks...

Wii #1521 - The Beatles: Rock Band (USA)

Any differences in the track list versus the PAL version? I don't see why there would be in this case but a lot of these music games have licensing differences, so I figured I should ask.

Any good gaming spots in SF or LA?

The gf and I are going to California the 2nd week of August, mainly seeing San Francisco and Los Angeles. We're looking for some stuff to pad our schedule, so how about video game tourist spots? Any particularly good arcades, stores, etc? Or, other cool ideas welcome too. Only other time...

    Hacking Overclocking

If you are the type to ask "Why?" or say "Sounds useless" then you are obviously not the type to overclock your Wii =P Sometimes, you do things just because you can. That in itself is the fun part. Of course, there's the added boost of performance if you were to run any processor intensive...

Hacking Any advantages to downgrading from System Menu 4.0?

Thanks to the recently released Bannerbomb, my virgin System Menu 4.0 Wii was enlightened to homebrew. I installed HBC, preloader .29, ran IOS Downgrader to enable trucha, installed cIOS rev 10... put in pretty much every essential I could think of. But looking around and seeing many downgrade...

DS #3735: Mijn Droomjob Verpleegster (Europe)

I don't know what a droomjob is, but if that nurse is giving it, I'll try one

    DS #3112: Blazer Drive (Japan)

I have no idea what this is but since it's Sega, and the cover art and title are cool, I think I have to check it out.

DS #2809: Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (USA)

I've been running it on my M3 Perfect SD for about 8 total in-game hours, not a single freeze. Looks good!

DS #2700: World Destruction: Michibi Kareshi Ishi (Japan)

Ah man, I wish I were fluent in Japanese... 5 semesters of taking it in college still isn't enough to play masterful RPGs like this

DS #2699: Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (Europe)

Lots of talk about the ARM7 fix, but has anyone found a fix for slot-2 cards? Actually I don't know if it's all slot-2 cards, but the M3 Perfect SD isn't working, at least. "Perfect" my ass!

DS #2699: Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (Europe)

Anybody having any luck with an M3 Perfect SD? Mine gives me two black screens on any combination of settings

DS #2673: Dragon Quest IV (USA)

Ah, awesome. Can't wait to tear into this game! Call me crazy or OCD or whatever, but I always prefer to play the US release of games even if the E version comes out first... yeah it's English but... but...

DS #2472: Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride (Japan)

So is there a brand new script in this remake? If not, it might not be too hard to put together a translation based on the SNES fan translation, if the dialogue remains the same... though I guess it's kind of a long shot, eh?

DS #2395: Midnight Play! Pack (USA)

Haven't heard of this one... just another 42 All-Time Classics type ripoff?

DS #2380: Guitar Hero: On Tour (USA)

Anybody else having trouble saving with the hacked version? I'm using an M3 Perfect SD, and mine won't save at all... I used the method with DSLazy, unpacking it, replacing the arm9, and repacking it.

DS #2380: Guitar Hero: On Tour (USA)

Wouldn't it be even more practical to use the USB Xplorer for that? There is a Guitar Hero III PC version you know

Wii #0184 - Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa (USA)

The region is listed as USA...? It's JPN, right?
  18. I

DS #2252: The World Ends With You (USA)

Not true. Saves often work between regions, and where they're obviously not identical. (read: JPN saves often work on USA releases)

DS #2069: Pato Tokeru! India Suugaku Drill DS (Japan)

Suugaku = mathematics. I guess that would make this a math exercise game.

DS #2042: Space Invaders Extreme (Japan)

You mean like... a 1D plane? aka a line?
