    Thanks for the replies and advice, I get the white screens with or without the sd card in the cart but on the cart that works it loads up to a black screen with the words www.r4ids.cn Starting Even without the sd card inserted

    right ive had another go and both r4 cards have the icons but when I press on them 1 of them goes to the white screens and the other goes to the loading screen and stops, so I put the firmware onto my micro sd card and popped it into the card that goes to the loading screen and it works 100%...

    Just got back from work, going to have a go doing all the above but I have done it once also r4ids.cn say their latest card (revision c) comes with comes with the icon - "deep labyrinth" supports 3DS V4.5.0-10 directly without patch updating
