Hacking M3 REAL AR Cheat type support Help

Thanks. And indeed the 3.6x fixed the DC code type bug. The "custom asm hack" is still needed to use codes like the change brightness. The old one might have had a small bug, so please use this one : Enable custom asm routine for M3Real 523FE294 E08AA009 E23FDFDC 00000024 E08AA009 E35A0000...

Hacking M3 REAL AR Cheat type support Help

Strange, I looked into the 3.5x cheat engine, and there is no change with the old one, so it's still "buggy" and the fixes should work correctly. (Actually I tried the enable custom asm code I made, along with the DC code type fix, and they worked properly). So make sure the fix is enabled ?

Hacking M3 Real Cheats Help!!!(On Pokemon Diamond)

On the M3Real, only the DC code type is broken. Your codes don't use them, so I find it more likely that there is a problem with the cheat file handling.

And anyway, all the Phat DS backlight codes were only working on chishm's NitroHax, not on the AR cheat engine, so I guess very few people will miss them...

Hacking M3 REAL AR Cheat type support Help

Indeed everything looks fine in their cheat engine. However, as it is different from the AR one, the Execute custom asm routine hack doesn't work on it. So I made a hack to enable the execution of custom ASM routines for M3Real users. Enable custom asm routine for M3Real E23FDFDC 00000024...

Hacking M3 REAL AR Cheat type support Help

Glad it works (I only made a small test on super mario 64 before posting that fix). There might be other problems around in their cheat engine, I only looked at the DC code type for now as I was told it was buggy. I'll check every other code type else later on (but if you know of any code type...

Hacking M3 REAL AR Cheat type support Help

These codes don't work because the DC code type is broken in the M3Real cheat engine. Instead of adding the offset with the value of the DC code, it makes offset = [offset + value of the DC code]. Anyway, use this code to fix it (just put it once, at the start of the code list for a given game)...

Hacking The massive CHEAT compilation thread.

Necessary or not, the lock/delock codes are way too big anyway. There is no chance they'll work on the hardware (be it with the real AR or a slot 1 device ; with the new (m) code a maximum of 253 lines of codes can be selected on the R4). So there is absolutely no need to add them.

Hacking The massive CHEAT compilation thread.

@Rayder : Hum it seems the "Teleport Code in Animal Crossing (U)" that has been posted will conflict with the (m) code I created (as the code will overwrite the start of the code list at 0x02000000). To avoid any problem, the (m) code should be changed to : 00000000 00000001 00000000 00000000...

Hacking The massive CHEAT compilation thread.

I tried the cheats with the EU version, and everything was fine. In your list, the Trainer Toolkit enable code should not be used. It's only meant for the real game. (Actually, @Rayder, this code should be deleted from the usercheat.dat file). I don't know about the "Don't enter your bedroom"...

Hacking The massive CHEAT compilation thread.

I don't know. Make sure the cheats are actually activated ? I tried with R4 fw 1.17 (with bugfix2), enabled cheats like infinite bells, weather change, item change, and all was working properly (I had 99.999 bells, it was snowing, and I had items in my inventory). I have the ACWW with the...

@Sanction : Just (re)tried some cheats with Rayder's last cheat database, and they worked perfectly. Be sure to use the database from 4-4-08 onward. For me it says 5026 cheats avaible.

ROM Hack FFCC ROF MoD Fix

Looks like a funy protection, and I guess it's a good thing no cards fell for the trap (actually, I wonder why they added such protection if it doesn't block any device. I mean, they should have put it for a purpose, and have tested it on something...). No, I didn't saw it, but I've to admit I...

Hacking The massive CHEAT compilation thread.

No need, I'm already there (under a different nickname : kenobi). About Eragon, seems like it's a bug within the R4/M3. The device seems to "forget" that the cheats are enabled. I don't know why this happens (maybe it's due to the save patch?), but anyway no (m) code will fix that.

Hacking The massive CHEAT compilation thread.

Hehe. Or you could change it manually meanwhile, if you want to test it out ? I also noticed that each of the ACWW version is in double when I open the USRCHEAT.dat with r4cce75. There are 2 Animal Crossing Wild World (ADMP 53DBB069), 2 Animal Crossing: Wild World (ADME 8F7851CB) and 2 Animal...

Rayder, the (m) code for animal crossing should be entered as a separate code in r4cce. You must enter it in the "Master Codes" window (it appears when you click on the name of the game in the code list ; it's the place where you also see the game id), else it won't work.

What about it ? I mean, never heard about "the (failed) DLDI trap".

Hacking The massive CHEAT compilation thread.

I know some people wanted it since some time. So after some testing, I came up with this one : Here is a (m) code for AC:WW, that will make AR codes work on the R4/M3 : 00000000 00000001 00000000 00000000 00000000 023FF300 00000000 02000000 (displayed as they should be entered in r4cce). Note...

ROM Hack FFCC ROF MoD Fix

Like an afternoon. Hopefuly, thanks to your researches, I knew there was a counter that triggered the protection. That saved me some time, and gave me a place to start ;) It was "hard" to find it on the emulator, because the emulator wasn't triggering the protection. But after a lot of...

ROM Hack FFCC ROF MoD Fix

I was not quite sure where to post it, so I'll post it here. And before starting, cheers to cracker. Some (wrong) things have been said about the "protection" Square-Enix (US) put in the US(/EU) FFCC games (like it was checking if the executables have been modified), so after an afternoon of...
