I am in the same boat. I connected my pro controller to my friends switch and now when I go to mine I have to connect it every single time to EMUNAND and the normal firmware. I would prefer to not create a whole new EMUNAND.
Thanks for the response. I haven't used used choixdujournx yet but if I do am I required to have autorcm on at all times so I don't burn fuses. (I'm not really a big fan of autorcm)
I'm wanting to update to 8.0 so I can play the newest update of Fortnite.
Should I be doing this with "ChoixDujourNX"?
I'm currently using EmuNAND with 7.0.1 and planning on keeping this at this firmware. What I'm unsure of is if I can update just original NAND with ChoixDujourNX safely? Is...
Figured out the issue. I was using my old pro dongle that I had on my old switch. It was saying the license was activated but it wasn't. I had to inject the payload through my computer the first time and activate the license and then I could use the dongle.
I am no longer able to get into the SX OS menu anymore. It just auto loads the custom FW when I push the payload. Any tips on how to get the menu back?
Firmware 7.0.1
Activated License for SX OS
If I have the license in the folder it boots strait into the custom FW. If I take it out, it will...
I have not booted into custom fw yet because I don't want to taint my original nand. (unless I'm thinking of this incorrectly). Do I need to do this now or wait until I can do it in the emuNand?
Yes I did. I just realized that I used an old dongle that I had on my old switch. I wonder if this messed something up since it may have been attached to another license number.
I have never clicked "boot custom FW
I have done the licensing part offline. I went to the options and created the emunand in the following ways.
exfat with hidden partition
exfat without hidden partition
fat32 without hidden partition
No matter what I do I'm unable to actually enable...
I'm trying to "enable" EmuNAND on my 7.0.1 switch but no matter how many times I push on the orange button it won't switch it to enable. I've tried:
exfat with hidden partition
exfat without hidden partition
fat32 without hidden partition
No matter what I do I'm unable to actually enable...
Thanks for the help. I just did this the same way you did and it still won't enable. I haven't clicked on "boot custom fw" yet. I wanted to only do this in emuNAND only. Do you think this is part of the issue?
I'm stuck. I am on:
7.0.1 Firmware
2.6.1 beta of SX OS
I have activated my license and created a backup using SX OS and Hekate. I then attempted to create a EmuNAND with a hidden partition on the SD. Everything went great but when I click on the orange "EnuNAND disabled" it doesn't change it...
I want to update my games and am trying to find the best method with the least risk of a ban. I've been able to go weeks and weeks so far without a ban.
Two options:
1. Using CDNSP to download the .nsp update and manually install it to the .xci
2. Going to OFW and updating strait from there...
This is exactly how mine looked being on the second batch. It also makes a buzzing sound. I just thought it was normal? Maybe I'll have to contact them about it.
Is there any point in clearing logs with hekate if I do not use homebrew at all? Just using backups. My plan was to clear logs before I go back into OFW each time but I'm not sure if that's a waste of time.
