Took a shot at patching the R4. The patching process won't go through. At the menu where it asks you to hit B for "card check" I get a "Fail" message. Same issue when I hit A to "Update".- dakidukno

The browser is simple, but pretty nice. No youtube yet, but i've been able to check various forums (as a matter of fact im doing this on mine right now), facebook (mobile) and mangafox (mobile) with very little delay/lag. That's only if your card boots with the Spongebob Icon. If you have Miami Nights or Meet the Robinsons (which most people do) then you have to update. But I can't get that update...which really sux.- dakidukno

So I just bought an R4 from r4wood.com. It came in the mail today. Its an R4i Gold 3DS. (shows up as Meet the Robinsons) Following this guide, I've setup wood kernel 1.30 on my 2GB SD card. I finally modeled and 3d printed the new HDD cages I need in order to build my 2nd NAS. Original ones don't fit the mounting holes on the hdds I'm using. Been sitting on this project for over 2 years smfh -

Also another 70TB going in the front mount drive bays of this server. 182tb raw, going to probably use a zfs RAID-Z3 for 3 parity disks, so 140TB usable

I could claw back 14tb by only doing 2 parity disks but I feel like with 13 disks in the RAID I'd be kind of pushing my luck on rebuild time if I encounter a disk failure
