Had more luck with this tutorial: I guess in essence the biggest difference is that it just uses sysupdater instead of FBI to install the update cias and does not need 3dsnus post-installation of missing titles as one merges the titles from previous update versions. Not sure about the need to...- herbert456

Hmm, I fail to install the update cias for my target region with FBI 1.4.17: first it installs some titles, then some titles obviously already exist, so I'm asked to confirm overwrite, but for some titles it fails to delete the old one (when overwriting) and finally after some titles it goes...- herbert456
