Do current Canary builds include AVX2 support or we still need custom builds?

Official hakchi2 - NES Mini very simple pimp tool

Since I plugged the snes classic I've been looking for an answer about it through pages. I certainly dislike the included scanlines shader, being as simple as it gets, I was wondering if the NES classic got a way to apply any more advanced shader through retroarch module or something accounting...

Emulation [RELEASE] Cemu - Wii U emulator

A question, everytime I load a game, I have to make sure what controller type it is compatible with, because Cemu only seems to configure one virtual controller every time. Is there a way to at least load per game controller settings? currently these settings are included in the settings.bin...

Emulation [RELEASE] Cemu - Wii U emulator

Maybe I missed something but, is it possible to load .ccc (controller configuration) files through the command line? Or maybe specify what .ccc file (or pad -> Pro, WiiPad, etc) to use in the "gameProfiles" configuration files?

Homebrew Citra - Unofficial \ Chinese builds discussion

Is Mario Kart 7 playable? I use the chinese build of 29-06, it works fine until just before the countdown for the start of the race, it freezes on white screen. It says unammped read32 @ 0x00 Edit: Tried to load a single circuit instead of a cup and it worked What do you mean with Rom Hack? Is...

Emulation [RELEASE] Cemu - Wii U emulator

Thanks! How odd, now I played one lap in one circuit, quit, and when reentered indeed it loaded the shaders. I remember all tracks playing fine from the get go when completing the cups... (some of them look horrible without them) I know the shaders failing today were caused by trying to load...

Emulation [RELEASE] Cemu - Wii U emulator

Running into issues with Mario Kart 8 (haven't tried other games). I was playing several cups without issues, after one hour it crashed, which seems ok for a WIP emulator. Then I didn't play again until today, but I observed the shading wasn't right at all, specular reflections were missing. I...

Homebrew Cover Collections for Emulators With Cover Support

I'm thinking on these sets more like master sets (no pun intended). So you can grab to create your flat 2D covers, or build your 3D boxes for whatever front-end you play on. So in that regard I don't see a problem on orientation. Cover size can be a problem for automation. But what one can do...

Homebrew Cover Collections for Emulators With Cover Support

I just downloaded your pack, great work on PAL SNES. But the SFC boxes are "westernized"... I wonder if anyone got an original scan set, I'm not too worried about it though.

Homebrew Cover Collections for Emulators With Cover Support

Yeah, I think standard spine has more value as being the original one. From there you can go "easily" one way or another I guess. Can't you set some action scripts for that? I wonder why mastershoes didn't include them, I would understand if he didn't have shrunken spine sets but he has so...

Homebrew Cover Collections for Emulators With Cover Support

Hello, great work mastershoes, one question, has there been or there will be 3DO and super famicom sets as well? I see a lot of talk about SFC but no links.

Homebrew Convert saves to RetroArch compliant .srm

Hello. I'm interested in knowing how to convert battery saves that work with RetroArch. Maybe we can do some kind of list here. Snes - srm is the standard here. Game Boy (Color) - I find many SAV format here, I read and tested, renaming to .srm works, also cross compatible between regions...

    Hacking WBFS conversion is destructive?

Best compression rate is with --compression NONE and then use an external compressor like 7zip. I have more games downloading, so I will update the statistics for all of them in the next days.

    Hacking WBFS conversion is destructive?

Some statistics 20 Games: 91 Gb in ISO 54.7Gb on Uncompressed WIA (WBFS should be about same size) without update partition (compression of 40%) 33.6Gb on 7z compressed WIA without update partition (compression of 38.57% respect to WIA, 63% to ISO) Those are some wonderful 60Gb to fill with...

    Hacking WBFS conversion is destructive?

I think I did something wrong getting bigger files with WIA format than WBFS. Mainly because I was using an image converted from the "wdf" command call instead of "wit", with that one I got a 340Mb wdf file, then converted from wdf to wbfs to a size of 200Mb. Using wit, to wbfs is 1.4Gb (1.4Gb...

    Hacking WBFS conversion is destructive?

If games are known to show issues without partitions I would rather keep them. I will check wich of both WIA or WBFS are smaller with partitions untouched and use that. I have no problem WIA being not popular, I copy the program along the images for whenever I want to convert them to another...
