    ok i found out how to do it, i installed the IOS70 anyway, and then installed SM 4.2 through DOP-Mii, and then re-enabled hacks through priiloader, then reinstalled cIOScorp.

    it says that SM 4.2 requires IOS70 (v6687) and i have IOS70 (v65535), DOP-Mii says that i have to install the v6687 over my current one to continue, do i install it?

    yeah i did, i couldnt before though which is why i was asking how to update to 4.2, and then i was asking if it was even possible after i got priiloader to work.

    i read it, but what does this mean "You have to edit the 000000010000003C to 0000000100000046, then resign and repack the wad. most wad packers will do the trucha signing for you. " it sounds like i have to do a little more work than install the SM over it...

    i had this exact same problem, you have to install Priiloader .30, and then get a hacks.ini file for 4.2E (i found one here http://webrewwii.blogspot.com/2009/10/42ue...-hacksini.html) and put the hacks.ini file on the root of your sd card, then install the preloader. then you turn off your wii...

    then how can i skip the Wii System Update notice if im not on the latest system menu. it will not let me play whenever i try to play a new game, for example, New Super Mario Brothers Wii?

    ok, i have installed cioscorp 3.6 successfully, and i am looking at a guide to install system menu 4.2 (http://adewii.wordpress.com/2009/10/17/howto-safely-upgrade-to-system-menu-4-2/) and it says to install another IOS70 (IOS70-64-6687.wad), and the cIOScorp 3.6 guide says not to overwrite...
