    I got Wi-Fi Update working on my R4i Gold 3DS. Here's how: - Download Wood R4iDSN and Wood R4i Gold - Copy the __rpg folder from Wood R4iDSN - Copy _DS_MENU.DAT and WOODR4.NDS from Wood R4i Gold. Worked for me. Hope it works for you!

    There's a chance it may brick your card. I wouldn't reccomend it but if you have no other option then try it.

    The update does not update the kernel. It reflashes the chip on the card with a new bootloader. Therefore the only way to update your card is to run the update on a DS/DS Lite/DSi. Can you not borrow one off a friend or "try one out" in a store.

    Download it here. Just updated my R4i Gold 3DS with that patch. Now working on 3DS v2.0.0-2E. I used a DSi to do the update. I don't trust my 3DS to do updates. I have a feeling nintendo is doing something nasty to cards that try to update on the 3DS.

    I'm in the same boat as you. It looks like the card is going to need an update. We need to wait for the team to release one. I've emailed them. I'll post the response here as soon as they email me back.

    I don't know. Mine was sent May 21st and arrived today. Contact their customer service. They're usually really helpful. Could be held up at customs or anything.

    Yeah, the only problem is I only have a 3DS and DSi. The team have told me to return it to the reseller. So I have contacted Lightake. The only problem is postage to Hong Kong is expensive.

    DO NOT install this update. It will brick your card. After updating mine I now get a white screen. I have contacted the R4iDS team for more info.

    The r4i gold from r4ids.cn is worth getting as: - Decent build quality - upgradeable bootstrap - Runs WoodR4 and is officially supported by ywg. - It's cheap
