Is a NAND restore only possible on BootMii boot2 (and not if BootMii is installed as IOS)? Judging from a lot of the posts here i kinda get the picture that only Boot2 restore's are safe.- Kayes

Hmn, I cant control it via the Power or Reset buttons (nothing happends when I press Power and Reset just resets). I dont own a gamecube controller. Is it supposed to lose the wii controller when launching BootMii?- Kayes

Hacking ULTIMATE System Menu 4.0 Guide
Im trying to update to 4.1e and i installed HBC and BootMii (as IOS) but everytime i launch BootMii my Wii controller loses connection and there is nothing i can do but reset the Wii. Any suggestions?- Kayes

I also get corrupted SystemMenu's (tried 416, 417 and 418 numberous times). Should it be safe to rename the file from *.BAD back to *.WAD and update?- Kayes

I didn't know they made an MSU cart for the Genesis.... I knew about the SNES one and the library for that is rather large but the Genesis one has very few games+1

An FPGA could probably replicate the chip's functionality without buying donor parts.+1 -

Like not emulating the entire SNES but just a loader and the enhancement chips perhaps even slightly overclocked like FX-2

I finally modeled and 3d printed the new HDD cages I need in order to build my 2nd NAS. Original ones don't fit the mounting holes on the hdds I'm using. Been sitting on this project for over 2 years smfh

Also another 70TB going in the front mount drive bays of this server. 182tb raw, going to probably use a zfs RAID-Z3 for 3 parity disks, so 140TB usable

I could claw back 14tb by only doing 2 parity disks but I feel like with 13 disks in the RAID I'd be kind of pushing my luck on rebuild time if I encounter a disk failure
