    Battery probably is bad or the voltage is too low.. Check the voltage of the new battery, if it's too low, the console thinks it's bad and will not charge it. Where did you get the battery from btw?

    Could be corruption in the Nintendo folder. Just to test, rename the Nintendo folder to something else, boot the console with the SD card and see if it boots.
