    The R4 has stopped production a while ago so buying an original would be incredibly tough. The best I could find is $6.76 at DealExtreme, I can't tell if its real or not. According to the reviews, it might be an original (I doubt it) or a well made clone.

    hmm... It looks like the real deal, but there are plenty of clones out there now so I can't be certain at all. Try reformatting your micro SD and use 1.18 firmware w/o ysmenu and play untrimmed roms. If that doesn't work, you either have a faulty card or a cheaply made clone.
