Hacking Yoshi Wooly World - disk based update?

To those worried about homebrew support: I can confirm for PAL EU version that the update must be <5.3.2 because I was on 5.3.2 and there was no update prompt. And to be extra sure I just checked it and I am still on 5.3.2 :)

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

Zelda Minish Cap (PAL) doesn't run fullspeed, there is a lot of slowdowns. "Playable", but "not enjoyable" I would say. A Link to the Past (GBA version w/ Four Swords, PAL) is also awkward. Dragonball Adventure (all regions) runs very slow as well. They are all very much the same like VBA-GX...

Ow well... damn :P I would have liked this way more than any "better color" or "upscale" :) Anyways, thanks for the information!

Gaming FPS of Wii games on Wii U?

Hi, to those of you who already have the new console: I am just a bit curious... Did you try to play "The Last Story" for example? Does the new hardware improve/"fix" the FPS? Thanks in advance! :)

Gaming Finally Nintendo got Mario Bros right again

Just being curious: Can you actually JUST play with a Wiimote and without ANY need of the Wii U gamepad, if you're just by yourself?

    Homebrew Snes9xGX Cover+ & co

Oh lol, I got the var wrong and thought "false" was right - silly me :D However, I am facing a problem on a different level: Compiling does not work. I keep getting this error with the latest devkit and libogc 1.8.7 (1.8.11 brought up many more errors, so I used the older version): > "make"...

    Homebrew Snes9xGX Cover+ & co

Thanks for your response! I found the variable to be set to false in the src folder, so I assumed there'd be another one hidden somewhere... but now my next guess would be that it's just "wrong" in the compiled version?

    Homebrew Snes9xGX Cover+ & co

Not meaning this in a complaining way. But while this *was* right for the previous version, Snes9xGX v2 does indeed want to update to version 4.3.0 on every startup. I just tried a clean new download and reinstall - including a fresh config, it's still the same. FCGEU und VBA are fine on the...

Gaming What did you like/dislike about Skyward Sword?

I agree for the most part. Also I'd like to add that all the hunting for materials/bugs was boring as well (like the Goddess Cubes). Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the game, but there were just some parts that felt unnecessary. And moreover, they felt like they were made for the sole...

Zelda Skyward Sword PAL MULTi6 Leaked

Hoping for DDLs, soon, though, if real, because torrent speed is slow as hell if you have a public tracker with all that leeching crap... :/

Wii #XXXX - The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (USA)

The commentaries don't say anything. The one confirming it, is the uploader him/her/itself! Wait for confirmation or try it out yourself and tell the rest of us :)

Wii #XXXX - The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (USA)

LOL, think first before you ask. It's not been out for many hours, also the filesize is different to anything else (plus, putative wia file format) In other words, without a complete download (and yes, it's damn slow), nobody can say anything, yet. But you can rest assure, that someone will...

Wii #XXXX - The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (USA)

Just to get things straight: This game is running fine on a simple 4.1/4.2/4.3 Wii with CFG UsbLoader and d2x (base IOS56)? In other words, no need for any additional, new IOSs (as of now at least)? I'm just interested, because a PAL version will most likely behave similarly.

Wii #XXXX - The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (USA)

AFAIK, there is no PAL version out, yet. Strange thing is, I'd have thought NTSC would come later than PAL.

Skyward Sword release on 11/11 in switzerland

Well, as it was said, he did post his very own bill, before leaking it... not the smartest move, if you don't want to be caught.

Gaming Skyward Sword Demo has leaked.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I preordered my CE at the first possible time and I will not back down from it. I'm just saying that an early leak like this might always be a reason for more people not to buy or order it. And in this case, a leak would totally be Nintendo's own fault. Also nothing's...

Gaming Skyward Sword Demo has leaked.

Then I believe, it's just a matter of time... well, if it happened, it would be Nintendo's own fault anyways - it's about the same like back then with OoT, but this time, we're talking about discs that are easy to dump and many people have fast internet connections... might be a really stupid...
