    On Mac, I would recommend using Etcher to flash you USB drive instead of dd. It works great and also validates you disk after flashing.

    Why not a MediKitten, as a lighter 8GB version of MediCat? I know USB storage is cheap, but sometimes, you find yourself without your super-duper USB toolkit at some friend's home who desperately need his/her computer fixed and a 25GB download might be an issue.

    I'd recommend submitting MediCat to be listed in MajorGeek (info in their about us section): they look (and indeed are) ancient, but that's where I would go to find this type of tool.

    Comparing this device's insane resolution with the Switch's 720p display, and looking at Analogue's other products, I find the the $199 price tag surprisingly low.

    Probably not that rare, but CD64 backup device for N64. I also own the Suncom Joy-Sensor joypad for Atari, which if IMHO the very best controller to kick your friends' ar$es at Summer Games running/swimming events and other games that require a lot of waggling.
