Homebrew Loading extracted .SAV files with ROMs?

I downloaded and installed, the .sav file is still in the same folder as the .nds file, and I get the error "The save data cannot be accessed. Please turn power off and re-insert card."

Homebrew Loading extracted .SAV files with ROMs?

Vistabuster: Actually, I used your converter website to pad a copy to 512 K for use with the ROM, as well as to take my original RAW export and pad that up to 64 K, which is what the cartridge is looking for. Sorry -- was not clear on that. Neither of them worked. Each time, either the ROM...

Homebrew Loading extracted .SAV files with ROMs?

I just loaded a .sav file I downloaded from the download section without a hitch! So there must be something wrong with my .sav file! Is there any kind of repair tool that would read it and correct errors? Does anyone on here know how to do this? Thanks so much, sorry I'm such a n00b!

Homebrew Loading extracted .SAV files with ROMs?

Not only will the Rom STILL not find the .SAV file using the website above, now my .sav's have disappeared from my CART! I still have my backups available, but when I try to restore, NDS Backup Tool gives me the error "The specified SAV file is a file that is smaller than the SAVE area of ROM"...

Homebrew Loading extracted .SAV files with ROMs?

Thanks very much! I will definitely try. I noticed that my SAVs are coming out at around 63 K. Hopefully I can get this to work!

Homebrew Loading extracted .SAV files with ROMs?

It's definitely a lower-case ".sav" file that matches the name of the .nds file exactly. (sorry for the upper-cases, was just doing that to easily distinguish the file types)

Homebrew Loading extracted .SAV files with ROMs?

Hi everyone: I've been searching for 2 days now for an answer as to why my ROM won't load my .SAV file, I can't seem to find any answers. I apologize if this topic has been covered. I purchased Final Fantasy IV DS, and I recently loaded the ROM onto my CycloDS so that I could carry all of my...

    Homebrew Help for a Newbie

Hi everyone: I'm very new to all of this stuff with my DS. I recently bought the Cyclone DS and I'm enjoying it very much. I loaded SNesemulDS (or whatever it's called) and NesDS and I'm digging enjoying some old school games. However, I've tried to play a few that lock up and won't load --...

Homebrew List of emulators that run on the DS

What are the best DS emulators for SNES and NES? I just ordered the CycloDS card and I'm looking forward to some old school Final Fantasy III US, and a few others. Rockin out to Final Fantasy IV, really love the way the DS redid the game.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
