    Hacking Somehow not banned

They often ban in waves. Chances are high that you'll eventually be banned.

Hacking Should I have removed SX EmuNAND in microSD files prior to creating EmuNAND as hidden partition?

If I recall correctly the release notes says it formats your SD card.

Hacking Super Smash Bros. Uitimate requires which firmware version?

It uses keys from 5.1, so it'll run on 5.1, however I reckon they will mark it as requiring 6.2, if not at launch in a patch shortly after. It'll still run on 5.1 though if you use tinfoil and remove that check.

Hacking Poll: How big is the user base of the SX OS?

This poll doesn't have enough options... I use whatever I prefer at the time, depending on what has the features I am interested in. I was using SX-OS for a long while, and now I'm using Atmosphere, however that's not to say I may not go back to SX-OS again if the EmuNAND feature goes stable...

Hacking Is there any significant telemetry data in a save file?

I did it this way: Backed up save from hacked console with Checkpoint Put legit console in flight mode Take NAND backup Boot into CFW and restore save(s) with Checkpoint Take another NAND backup Open the save-injected NAND backup with hacdiskmount Copy the specific (console signed) save files...

Homebrew RELEASE LibHac & hactoolnet v0.1.3

I'm looking to do this now. I've extracted a save successfully, I have a directory and two files within it. It's a legit save, I've opened it in a save editor and confirmed. I'm trying to sign it again, and I'm not sure what command arguments to use to pack it back into a single file + sign it...

    Hacking .NET Core compatability

That's not really a Nintendo Switch question, that's a Linux question, probably more suited to a Linux forum I would guess. But if somebody knows the answer and is willing to help then that's great. Perhaps check the Arch Wiki. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/.NET_Core

Homebrew RELEASE Nintendo Switch SD to NSP Dumper

This is probably a question for a yuzu thread/forum? I believe yuzu is still very much in alpha. Can you install and run NSPs sourced from other sources ok?

Homebrew RELEASE LibHac & hactoolnet v0.1.3

Thanks so much for confirming, and thanks for this awesome library.

Homebrew RELEASE Nintendo Switch SD to NSP Dumper

Thanks, it's an awesome tool, however I ran the same SD through 1.07 and 1.09 (1.08 simply doesn't work for me), and there are a lot of differences. 1.07 dumped 42 items, totaling 49.4GB. 1.09 dumped 38 items, totaling 21.9GB. Happy to share the differences via PM. edit: everything up to 3.3GB...

Homebrew RELEASE LibHac & hactoolnet v0.1.3

Wow, nice work. So save signing would potentially allow us to inject a modified save to an unmodified console, for example via hacdiskmount?

Homebrew RELEASE Nintendo Switch SD to NSP Dumper

Yes, you cannot move them, however you simply delete and re-install to SD. Yes, all my games were on SD card, none are on internal storage.

Homebrew RELEASE Nintendo Switch SD to NSP Dumper

I had all kinds of issues with 1.08, however I switched to 1.07, followed the instructions, and had no issue at all. The console I was dumping from was running 6.0.1 as well. I'm thinking about rewriting this in Python, as I find it useful and the author seems to be MIA. I just need to...

Hacking Question Is there any way to bypass "a system update is required in order to play software" without updating

Yes I did this for the latest Xenoblade update, it's marked as requiring 6.0, I reinstalled the update with Tinfoil and worked fine. Even though I own the game I play it on a hacked and perma offline console.

Hacking Discussion ReiNX still running after power goes dead?!?!

If you charge it, and 'turn it on' and the game is still running, then it never lost power.

Hacking Did I just screw myself over?

You should be able to insert jig, hold volume up, and plug in the USB cable, it should appear in Windows (in RCM mode) as it’s getting power from your PC. It won’t be able to boot to Horizon, but it should get to RCM fine. Then simply send it the CTCaer hekate payload, go to tools, battery info...

Hacking Did I just screw myself over?

https://gbatemp.net/threads/ctcaers-hekate-w-battery-desync-fix.509321/ Get the latest version of CTCaer hekate from github though, dont use this one. The option should still be there in roughly the same spot. There is even an option under tools to dump all your battery information and health...

Hacking Did I just screw myself over?

Have you tried clearing battery stats in CTCaer hekate? Then just plug it in for 12 hours and give it a good charge.

Hacking So what’s the actual point of banning owners from the eshop

Not really... Only if they also manage to clean up the abundance of NSPs and XCIs as well will it start to clean up piracy. My second console hasn’t been connected to WiFi since it was hacked, it doesn’t make it any more difficult to load NSPs or XCIs onto an SD card.

    Hacking Activated PS4 Profile.

Is your PS4 already activated? Did you run HEN first? Apart from that, all I did was reinitialise the console in safe mode, figured it was going to wipe it anyway so may as well make sure it's 100% clean. Worked fine for me.
