1762 - Shaman King Master of Spirits (U)

Teehee! I think you've just stumbled upon a genre that's lacking for the GBA...Salmon fishing.

    New: 1258 - Onimusha Tactics (U)

For what it's worth, I'll second Thug's sentiments about the PS2 versions. Definitely worth checking out! Thanks again for those who are offering opinions on this release. They are so varied I guess I'll have to look into it myself and form my own opinion. --Khayos--

    New: 1258 - Onimusha Tactics (U)

I'm confident a few of you are tinkering with this release now -- Any comments on how this rates in storyline & gameplay compared with other GBA strategy releases (i.e. Fire Emblem, FFTA, Tactics Ogre, Advance Wars). Share some pros & cons. Thanks for your opinions! --Khayos--

    New: 1235 - Fire Emblem (U)

Just d/l'd this last night. My first impressions are quite high. I'm excited about delving further into the game. If you're a strategy lover and an RPG lover, it's worth trying out, IMO. --Khayos--

New: 1210 - Kawaii Pet Game Gallery (J)

True, that was a strange looking game. However, it makes me wonder what Japanese fans think of games like Britney's Dance Beat. Angelica - Thanks for the post about the .nfo file. It answered an unasked question of mine. I wondered why games such as this would get priority over other dumps...

    New: 1192 - Battle X Battle - Kyoudai Uo ...(J)

Ummmmm....... A battle fishing game? I know I'm easily confused, but this looks...well...weird.

    New: 1168 - Blackthorne (U)

I missed this game for the SNES. Forgive my ignorance, then, but having not played it yet, would anyone out there be willing to give a brief synopsis of the plot? Thanks. If it's like Flashback, I'm thinking I'll like it, but more of a description would be appreciated. Thanks again! --Khayos--

    New: 1161 - Boktai (U)

Forgive me if this has been addressed already with the Jap release of Boktai, but are there any F2A users out there that have sampled this rom yet? Does it work even though the F2A has no RTC? I plan to buy this cart anyway, so I figure I'd save some time in downloading it if I know it won't...

New: 1142 - Disney Extreme Skate Adventure (U)

Well I'm thinkin that the queue for this rom will be a bit shorter than it was for FFTA... BTW, Jumpman, I dig your new sig! --Khayos--

New: 1140 - Rescue Heroes Billy Blazes (U)

It's games like these that make me thankful for roms. There is no way I'd buy this game before I'd tried it. That being said, perhaps its the sleeper hit of the year.

New: 1141 - Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (U)

Reviews I read clocked this release at 150 hours or so. *faints* (I can't believe it's here...) Thanks, Thug! EDIT: Heh. Our IRC channel is full right now...gee, I wonder why...

    New: 1136 - Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu (J)

I'm ecstatic. What more can I say? I won't even mind waiting until December; I'm thinking FFTA and CIMA, among other things, will keep me rather busy until this treat comes along.

New: *BETA* Starsky and Hutch (U)

Nothin' like turning a 70s TV show into a video game to brighten ones day. Is Brady Bunch Advance around the corner?

    New: 1134 - Rock N Roll Racing (E)

You mean there are no Peter Gunn fans out there? I'm indifferent about this one, actually. Never been a big racing fan, myself.

    Released: VisualBoy Advance 1.6

So I've sifted through the comments here, and wonder if there's a consensus...what are ppl's thoughts on the update of the VBA? Is it worth tinkering with, or would you recommend I wait for 1.6.1 to come down the pipe? Thanks. Looking forward to the replies.

    New: 1117 - Tales of Phantasia (J)

A new, well-thought-of RPG for the GBA? Excellent news. *marks 12/31 on his calendar*

    New: 1116 - CT Special Forces 2 (E)

This game is sweet. I've barely started it, but the variety of the missions is quite addictive. I, too, wish it wasn't a password save system. Thank God for the emu. Definitely worth checking out.
