    OK I have my 3ds that is updated to Ver. 1.1.0-1U and her 3ds is Ver. 1.0.0-0U I have 2 acekard's 1 that I updated manually and the other 1 that i bought brand new with the acekard update. both of them don't work on my updated 3ds but they do work on my gf non-updated 3ds.(bought brand new)...

    well it used to work on my 3ds after I updated it but all of a ssudden Drasu does not show up at all. It does show up on my Girlfriend's though. And yes it is the new 3DS branded AK2i. I tried to update an older one and screwed it up. :/

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
