Thanks. So this IS confirmation that simply updating the Wii to 4.2 will not brick it. Thank you! I'm not too concerned about losing homebrew. As for modding, I'll be sure to print out your guide and xxeroxs and pass it along.- hellotyler

Thank you for your response, Space Cadet! I just want to verify that upgrading the system with hacks loaded will NOT brick the wii. If I run a legitimate update it will simply take it to the newest update and not mess with anything ? Sorry to go back over this, but I've been debating it for...- hellotyler
