If you're the type to catch every new pokemon, you'll be overleveled for the majority of the hack. Unless you start skipping trainers or turn off EXP Share. There are still some tough trainers though that can own you despite that, unless you're massively overleveled which you shouldn't be.
This...
But the guy wasn't playing badly or anything. He answered a question and said you can EV train. Then Dio goes off on him like he's insulting the hack or not playing the way Dio seems to want people to play
Are the kids before Lana supposed to be in the 50s? This is from the previous patch, not the update you just posted here. I played Supernova Sun, Lana was fine, but the kids before her were weak. I assumed it was on purpose
Alright Dio, I think I've done almost everything. All I have left are the Gladion, Lusamine, and Youngster championship defenses, and I'll have battled every trainer. Not often will you see a mod that puts effort into the content that most players will skip. This is seriously thorough. Great hack
Z-Crystal Decidueye
Malamar usually with a Sash for Topsy Turvy, otherwise Quick Clawed or Banded. This dude helped me a lot for the Totems. Made Ultra Necrozma a joke
Dusk Form Lycanroc w/ Life Orb
Togekiss w/ Choice Specs or Choice Scarf if I wanna go for flinch hax, which I needed a lot for...
I have just finished the RR post game. You had some nice surprises, one of them nearly gave me a heart attack lmao. I have a question about the post game though. Is every trainer updated? Should I go around doing all the optional battles or did you only update the Poni Gauntlet path?
I'd recommend EV training for the post game at least. It's perfectly doable without doing that of course, but you're gonna be getting your ass handed to you and relying on items lmao. At least that was my experience with post game Poni Gauntlet back on S/M when I didn't EV train and had terrible...
Just create an egg and trade it to your save. Or since you're modding anyway, just give them your OT. I'm gonna do this on a replay so I can finally use an Alohan Vulpix, since by time I get to the third island I'm usually too attached to my team to make replacements.
Omg that Octillery trainer is back and still a load of BS. Hate hate hate it, it always manages to get Freeze hax and it's special defense/defense always conveniently rises against the right opponent. Thank god I had Malamar for this run
..oh you did it twice in one route. I hate you lmao
The only time you might need to grind is in the beginning, before your team is really set up. The beginning in most rom hacks are always brutal. I never EV Train, always have terrible natures for most of my mons, and still make it through
Yes I'm sure man. Lol I had to play all the way there in the first place. Everything else is proper, only the Totem battle is still vanilla. Ultra Moon is probably working as intended, if what I'm assuming is correct
Also, I'm using the Luma method for the patch, Expanded build
I don't know if it's on purpose or not, but on Supernova Sun, Totem Gumshoes is unchanged from vanilla US. He's still level 12 and all the mons he calls in are also that weak. So he was a total pushover. I'm assuming that was something that slipped by you considering the trailer?
