    Hacking Cheap DVDs can kill the DVD drive?

    Just gonna ask this quickly, I am using CompUSA DVDs for backups and to my surprise they worked quite well. What I wanna ask is if the quality of the disc can affect the life of the DVD Drive on the Wii? Like, would it cause more tear and cause it to die quickly? I am gonna buy some Verbatim...

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.
