    sounds like its preloader is set to load on exit goto preloader menu by holding reset and goto settings and change the turnoff setting to off put autoboot to system menu and the one below to off and that should stop it make sure that in the settings that the setting i think second last one...

    if its the pal disk then its coded to go to pal servers from disk so even region changes wont make a diffrence now this is a long shot but i did this for a psp game "ducks" from a bunch of angry mobs fists" lol i dunno if you can mention psp here lol anyways i had the same issues with socom...

    happens to me too both with back up and original game and i have 10mb broadband nothing else running but wii, tried wired and wireless connection and still no avail ive even gone to the extreme and tested pings, the lot and everything is fast enough its a pitty cos its a freaking awesome...
