You should be able to download a firmware update and place it on the root of the card to fix this problem. Make sure it's on the root and not in a folder (ie if your sd card is drive F, it should be f:\update.evo)
There's a button combination to force a firmware downgrade. I believe you hold down and B while it's booting up, but I don't remember exactly and their forums are down so I can't check. Anyone else remember?
If you copied ROMs over and they didn't show up, it's probably because you played them in the CycloDS folder. You are supposed to place your games anywhere BUT there, as that is a system folder that is hidden when browsing games on the DS. The moonshl folder needs to be in the root of the card...
From what I've read, Nintendo is only suing flash card RETAILERS (people who sell the cards) not the actual companies that MAKE the cards. So TC shouldn't be on their list right now.
You don't need to do any firmware updates or patches for the 3 in 1. As long as you have the latest firmware for the CycloDS (1.41) it will do everything for you. There is an option in the CycloDS menu to enable/disamble rumble support, and it will automatically set the RAM up for the Opera...
I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol
@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
@Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero
but most recently, there was one that actually generates a working unity scene with terrain and textures already set up that you can import right into unity, that's a huge time saver right there
