Hacking ttmenu.sys error?

Hacking faulty lower screen?
hi i recently purchased a ds lite second hand. when i got it the lower screen had dark areas (kind of smudge like/ ink splashes) on the left hand lower portion of the screen. the appear to be on the lcd itself. it doesnt affect the game play and you can still see the full picture just slightly...- emmas
