    Not that I had much hope for a physical release, but now it's official: Source BS PR speak aside, it doesn't affect me too much, since I care about the game itself, not the box, but I can see how some people might not bee too pleased with it.

    The 6.35 doesn't appear to have the permanent patch in it. On the 6.20 version, you have the proupdate folder, the fast recovery folder and a folder with the permanent patch in it. Probably the permanent patch can only be used with 6.20 OFW.

    The permanent install works fine on 6.20. Try installing it, using fast recovery and then using the permanent patch. If it doesn't work, try using the patch without running the test. It's kinda risky, but until I skipped the test, it would only reset it. Maybe a bug?

    @Project Zero: Don't worry about it. The same happened to me, but it works great. Just load the rom with the first button, then copy-paste the code, and use the bottom button. Then, just copy the rom to your cart, and done.

    I have other problem: Once you finish the first fight and see/skip the cutscene, the game will freeze on the loading screen. It happens with both the iso and the cso, and with both drivers. I'm using 5.03 GEN-B.

    It's not the stick, since I have booted GEN-A before, with this same stick EDIT: I feel like a fool now. The problem is that I forgot to turn the plugins off. Maybe you could add it to the Install notes, just in case.

    That's nothing. The first time I got ChickHen to work, it was after 1 hour and a half worth of tries. Oh, and the fix did not work. It sill gives me a black screen.

    Thanks. I'm going to try it now. BTW, you know, trying stuff until something works is not the worst part. The worst part is the ChickHen. Sometimes I get it working at the 1st try, and sometimes, it takes lots of tries. EDIT: Still can't install GEN-A using the fix files.

    Actually, I think that this was a known issue back when GEN-A came out. There was even a tutorial on it on the DaX Forums.

    The same happens when I try to install GEN-A. And, reading some posts on the pspgen forums, you can go directly from chickhen to GEN-B.

    Yeah it works great but it's the obvious Ds factor you loose from it it's not like playing atari games on atari because Nintendo actually use to give a reason to buy their hardware
