    if you have the homebrew channel already installed it goes in the apps folder like this apps (file folder) wad manager (file folder) then the dol file renamed to boot.dol if you are running any apps via the homwbrew channel you should be able to see the file structure already on the sd card in...

    I have a 8 gig sdhc card that the wii cant see but if i put it in and load up homebrew 9 channel it will load up just fine show any apps that are in the app folder but i havent tried to play any games from HBC9 as of yet but the channel it self supports cards over 2 gig and can launch apps...
