    Gaming Farm Frenzy Animal Country

Cool little game. However, I am unable to get gold or even silver on some of the levels. I'm sure it's possible, but it sure seems like there's no way to do it since I'm not even close on some of the levels. Does going back to earlier levels later in the game help you in any way (do the...

    Hacking YSMenu and 3-in-1+

Yasu has a test version of YSMenu that he thinks will work with the EZFlash 3-in-1+ but doesn't have a 3-in-1+ to test it with. There is a link to it at the bottom of the following page: http://www.usay.jp/dtbbs.php?mode=tree&treeid=1676 It's in Japanese, so here's a Google translated...

<b>Q: How do I set up my DSTT/microSD card?</b> To set up your (possibly fake) DSTT for the first time, follow these directions:<ol type='1'><li>Backup the files on your microSD card, and use the Panasonic formatter to reformat your microSD card.</li><li>Grab the unofficial (fake-killer...

    DSTT "Fake Recovery 1.16"

Apparently, the "fake killer" code that was rumored to be included in the latest version (1.16) of the official DSTT firmware is real, and has destroyed quite a few fake DSTT's. Although it is recommended that users stick with firmware 1.15, those users who had their fake DSTT's destroyed by...

    Gaming Dragon Ball: Origins

I occasionally see a setup with a crevice that is slightly too wide to jump and a treasure chest on the other side. On each side of the crevice are two moon rock looking things. What am I supposed to do with the moon rocks to get across? -Bri

    DSTT "Fake Killer" Firmware

Rasputin reports that team DSTT's latest firmware 1.16 differs from the 1.16 that was originally release on October 29th. This can be confirmed by doing a binary compare on the TTMENU.DAT files from both. Is this the "fake killer" firmware that team DSTT promised? If so, it would be the first...

    Hacking Bottom Hori Screen Protectors?

I have a Hori screen protector, which has worked well for the past few months. Unfortunately, Ninja Gaiden has taken its toll, and the bottom screen protector is pretty scratched up. The top and outside screen protectors are just fine, of course. Is there somewhere to just buy a bottom Hori...

    Homebrew Eilts FrodoDS

    Hacking scandisk for microSD?

I would like to be able to scan my microSD to at least see if there are errors (even if it can't repair the errors). I know that Sakura has a scan disk, but if I try to run it by itself I get some errors (and it appears to be in Japanese). Is there a standalone version of a scan disk program...

    Hacking Browser memory

I have two questions, and was unable to find the answer by searching. First, how much memory does the memory expansion pak that comes with the Opera browser have? Second, if you use a GBA memory expansion cart (like the EZ 3in1 or eWin 2in1) that has more memory than the one that comes with...

also gonna install twilight menu in my r4 flashcard
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i dont have an sd card adapter but I have an usb sd card adapter
