    Well, following http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vfpcnKptEw, I cannot get this to work on Supercard DSONE. The opening title screen keeps on cycling so I can't begin/continue a game.

    Yeah, the enable cheat is checked off. I'll try and see if YSMenu works for DQ5. YSMenu seems to be made for DSTT. Is there any procedures for Supercard?

    I renamed the rom 3396 Dragon Quest V.nds so I placed that in my root along with 3396 Dragon Quest V.scc (which you made) as well as in /scshell/cheat It doesn't work. I dont think my renaming has anything to do with it. Anyway. I appreciated your help.

    I made a SCC from a txt that looked exactly like this @Protection Bypass Cheat 0200819C E3A00000 020081A0 E12FFF1E I've enabled cheats but the cheat screen never comes up and instead, goes on to boot the rom. I don't understand how others have gotten it to work with Supercard DS ONE.

    When there's too much grinding. I think I use real time save more often. I find RTS decreases the difficulty/time spent, just about right. Some cheats makes the game too easy to be worthwhile playing.

    Hacking Connection problems with DSONE V3, bad card or MicroSD?

    I do, I pull it out about 10 times a month I should say. Or less. So. Should I get another card? It would be hard to test it on another friend's machine considering that sometimes it is fine and other it is not.
