Just for fun really, hopefully I can get time to make it a bit more useful as I have plans to use it for a project, but it doesn't have a super specific use currently. I should be able to write a library or some bindings so it can use hardware specific functions if I can find the time. The only...
A minimal port of MicroPython to the Nintendo DS that is a bit buggy, but functional. It currently resides in my fork of MicroPython under the nds branch in the folder named nds (under the ports directory), but may be moved to an actual repo later. Please remember that this is a work in progress...
For anyone who is interested we have created a small "library" (I use that term loosely) for some of the basic things necessary when programming the Nintendo DS in assembly (loosely based on chibialiens tutorials). Please note that this "library" is designed to work with the VASM assembler...
For those interested I created a simple template based on chibialiens tutorials of ARM Assembly for the Nintendo DS. I created this because I found the template that he included to be very annoying to use, so here is mine:

Hi, I was wondering what the best approach to making a tile based (game) level in the same void as other things like the player/enemies would be using only the default libs. I know it is possible to create an array of sprites but was wondering if there was a better way (with default libs).
Using the default libs how do you send and recieve data localy? I know others have already made stuff for this (such as cnquake and NesDS) but I would like to make a very simple client and server to send an int, and do not have the time to mess with larger libs.
I have found so many games off gamepass I like that I would have never known I'd like if it had not been for gamepass. But yea to each they own, but I think its great.
