Switch OLED won’t boot into Hekate

Ahh cool, thanks a lot! I'll probably end up doing reflow or friction method, I find kamikaze WAY too risky, plus I dont have a grinding pen. Would recommend friction or reflow? I read on reddit that reflow isnt recommended anymore as it can lead to the solderballs cracking down the line, but I...

Switch OLED won’t boot into Hekate

Thanks for the quick reply! Luckily, I do know how to solder since I worked in my fathers electronic repair shop about 4 years ago. The issue is just, that the switch modchip is smaller and more "fragile?" than what I'm used to. So before trying to do it myself (or asking my father to help), I...

Switch OLED won’t boot into Hekate

Hey, so I bought a switch modded oled a few months ago and everything worked 100% perfectly. After not playing for about a month, the switch won’t boot to hekate. Whenever I press the power button, my switch immediately boots to ofw. The weird thing is, sometimes it DOES boot into hekate and I...

Switch OLED fan at 100% but completely silent

I played Zelda TotK and overclocked my Ram and GPU. I noticed the fan speed slowly going up in Status Monitor, so I think the PWM still works. It’s not a instant jump to 100%. The Switch feels very warm and the SoC idles at 65c, without it ever going over. I can’t even hear the fan, even when...

    Switch-OC-Suite

The thing is, it also fluctuates while asleep, which is why I'm concerned. I don't know what's happening to cause my switch to boost in sleep mode..

Hacking Move game saves from OFW to CFW?

Hey, I just got a new switch with CFW already installed, but I want to transfer my save files from my old switch, to the CFW of my new one. I thought the best way to do this, is to launch sysNAND, log into my Nintendo account and simply transfer my saves to the new Switch. So now that the saves...

    Switch-OC-Suite

@meha why does my switch CPU clock keep switching between 1785 MHz and 1020 MHz, even though, I have it disabled in the tesla menu? Its in handheld mode, and the clock changes multiple times a minute/second.. Also, I have not configured anything, every option is set to "do not override". I might...

    Switch-OC-Suite

Why does the CPU clock keep changing while the console is asleep in docked and handheld mode? So, I set the CPU clock to 1683 MHz, and didn't disable it before putting it to sleep. I just thought that there were separate clocks for sleep mode, so I didn't have to disable the overclock. Besides...

    Switch-OC-Suite

Why does my Ram OC menu only show 1600 and 1996? Couldn’t there be a option for 1600, 1862 and 1996? It would be better if I could choose without changing the loading.kip file

so much nicer, lower actuation force, smoother key presses, quieter and more satisfying thock, no more key wobble, and no more stupid properietary software

I've been using a Logitech G PRO ever since I bought it at the flea market, it's pretty nice, but I wish the lightning was programmable in more complex ways, I can't even do such a basic thing as having the light of the caps lock key behave as its status.
Blue switches are the only option for me.

Been seeing keychron have major sales lately

A friend of me was recently asking me for advice, she's been using some stupid overpriced Razer membrane "hybrid" thing, she'd like something where you can actually feel the key presses, but also most importantly something with no backlight at all, just fully readable symbols without any backlighting,
  • IC_ @ IC_:
I don't know much about the world of mechanical keyboards, with a little research we concluded that brown switches are probably what she's looking for, but I'm not sure, and also where to get a keyboard like this without any lighting. I was thinking of making a thread asking for advice on this forum, but didn't end up doing so in the end.
