    Tomorrow when I am more than 30% sane I am going to give it ago! I have had 10x more fun with the damn thing just messing with it than I have actually using it for games. So much has changed since I stopped using my 3ds, I wont lie, its slightly intimidating trying to figure out whats what!

    Thanks for the reply! In all honesty I only use this thing while away on business, I dont have any interest in gba/ds etc. I have rxtools installed as well (I dont even know how to boot it anymore haha) and I never used it. Thanks again tho! Is there an idiots guide to this? Id just be happy...

    Hardware Nintendo 3DS is here to stay!

    Is this supposed to be surprising? The 3ds came out in 2011, has a bit of a head start dont ya think? Add to that the much more consumer friendly price point, its no surprise at all. Love me 3ds, but come on.

    Boot up time is like any other game, install time is the issue. There is a theoretical limit, but its quite large and not something you really need to worry about.

    There is nothing bad about them, hell I use them from time to time, but installing giant games is very time consuming. Again, how much this matters will vary from person to person. Rxtools will be just fine for you tho.

    Only real benefit now is being able to run .3ds files, not all of us want to install .cia files. Up to the individual if its worth it or not. I have best of both worlds, gateway and rxtools.

    Call me crazy but when you visit a site with GBA in the name you should sort of know what to expect! As of right now the 3ds scene is exploding, where there is new and exciting, there is interest from the community. I am sure there are hundreds of other sites out there that offer the diversity...

    Hey guys, I am very new to homebrew on the 3ds. I am currently using rx tools to play installed gba games, at this point does retroarch offer anything in terms of superior emulation over the method I am using now? edit Guess I should mention I am using an o3ds on 4.3
