I have used one labeled "Picofly Core" successfully. It has a boot button, but not a reset button. The AliExpress listings come and go. This time, the image in the listing showed "Picofly Core", but I got "New 2040plus" like yours. The only references to these I have found are within complaints...- subfloor

Comparison of modchips on the market
Are you saying you have used those particular chips with the label "New 2040plus", or just some RP2020 chips? So far, I've only found people talking of having "New 2040plus" chips that either don't work or brick their Switch. I ordered some from a listing on AliExpress where they were depicted...- subfloor

Luckily I got the extruder off, and ordered a new one, only $29, but gotta wait week or so, was trying to make wall holders for all my game controllers to organize a bit. Oh well.
