Hello I have a nintendo switch board that have been worked on (not by me). It will load any rcm payload but not with the lcd or the backlight ribbon connected. with only the backlight connected it would just flash for a second and shutdown right away. With both lcd and backlight there would be...
I read the emmc on another switch using Hekate. But wanted to test the actual switch for continuity to the emmc socket.
it wasn't worked on before. It was all dusty when I opened it and the screws had no marks. No fingerprints either
Ok ,tried ion a non patched switch and it reads the emmc with all partitions. Now I am gonna have to check the connections on the board for the emmc socket. Is there a pinout out there like those for the sdcard socket?
Sorry to bump an old thread but has this ever been resolved? I have a similar issue with a device(draws 15v). Get recognized in tegrarcmgui (sends payload but is probably patched) but doesn't power on.
I get 1.8v on the cap at the top of the emmc when I press the power button but no backlight...
I wasnt able to see the screenshots you posted. And now that I do,I cant see where it say emmc error. It should say "cant initialize emmc" for it to be a emmc error.
Your sdcard or the files on it are probably faulty. Try loading an older version of Hekate

It looks like your emmc module is not connected or dead.if you have another hackable switch, try your emmc to see if it wont read it either. If so,you will have to find a way to read the emmc content directly(soldering)

OMFG this is awesome. I really like to see hardmods on the nswitch. And this one is very useful. Does it connect to the battery or does it use the connections to m92t chip so the system knows its charging?

You were the first person to tell me that the switch is supposed to work without the p13usb and now you are adding another great knowledge on that chip [emoji119]

Look with a magnifier or a microscope. There should be a tiny point(connection) right in the middle. If not ,its probably NC

Check your serial# to make sure its not patched.disconnect emmc (will boot straight to rcm)and remove sdcard
Then try sending hekate
