Homebrew [DISCUSSION] New Super Ultimate Injector (NSUI)

Can you transfer a GBA CIA save file to another? I want to change some filters in a game I've been playing, but I don't want to start over.

    Hacking Nintendont

I think I've found another game that doesn't accept turning the filter off: Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike. To me, it looks very soft, specially comparing to Rogue Squadron II.

    Hacking Nintendont

So, I went ahead and tested Metroid Prime's brightness settings on Nintendont and it worked fine, even with deflicker OFF. Are there other games that disable effects if I set Deflicker to OFF? I mean, is it safe to just leave it OFF for every GameCube game, without worrying about missing...

    Hacking Nintendont

Oh, that's interesting. Would you happen to know why disabling it in Dolphin doesn't affect the fading effects, and in real hardware, it does? https://ppltoast.wordpress.com/2018/05/11/a-small-look-into-the-gamecubes-copy-filter/ I've tested disabling the Copy Filter in Dolphin and the fading...

Hacking Possible to Disable the Wii's (De)Flicker Filter?

Won't I have trouble with flickering? Or that only happens on CRTs?

Hacking Possible to Disable the Wii's (De)Flicker Filter?

Is that a game-specific patch? The curious thing is that this is the only game (Wii or GameCube) I couldn't patch to 480p. MadWorld and all the GameCube games I've tested worked fine in 480p.

Hacking Possible to Disable the Wii's (De)Flicker Filter?

Are there any benefits to disabling the de-flicker filter in a 480i Wii game? I can't force Tenchu to 480p.

    Hacking USB Loader GX

Oh, it worked with MadWorld! I had to enable "Force NTSC480p" and set "Dol Video Patch" to on. Edit: It didn't work with Tenchu tough. Maybe it just won't work with everything. Yes, it is! I've managed to get it to work with Shrek 2 (non-native 480p) and Smash Melee (native 480p) by enabling...

    Hacking USB Loader GX

How is the newest build in regards to: 1. Forcing 480p on Wii games that don't support it natively? (Like MadWorld) 2. Removing the deflicker filter in GameCube games? (Via nintendont) I could never make these work. Also, where can I find an explanation about diferent deflicker options for...

Homebrew TWPatcher - DS(i) mode screen filters and patches

I honestly have no idea how Nintendo couldn't implement something like Linear Sharpen 1, which is very similar but somehow miles better than Nintendo's default scaling. It's so much better that it made me enjoy DS games on a N3DSXL more.

Homebrew [DISCUSSION] New Super Ultimate Injector (NSUI)

I think I kind of could hear it (I don't have earphones with me now), but I really think it's just the bad sound quality GBA has. It sounds veeeeery compressed.

Homebrew [DISCUSSION] New Super Ultimate Injector (NSUI)

I haven't played FireRed yet, but GBA audio isn't particularly great. In which part of the game does that happen more noticeably? I have the game installed, I could take a look.

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Hey, just an update: it seems the problem is with the game itself, since it also happens when I play it with an Acekard 2i (through AKAIO, not launching within TWilight Menu). Unless, somehow, it's still using the nds-bootstrap. Is this possible?

Hacking Acekard 2i not working on N3DS.

It was a contact issue. I need to give it a little push for it to work, and even so, sometimes it doesn't. There's something odd, though: Sometimes a Danny Phantom icon shows up, while other times it shows the Acekard icon. Which one should it be? Does it matter? Edit: It's working perfectly...
