Hacking Accidentally broke my gateway mset entry point, please help an out of touch noob?

Appreciate the help, I honestly thought I was going to met with hostility due to the sheer stupidity of something so simple in the grand scheme of things. I will most definitely post if I run into any issues, which I am sure that I will.

Hacking Accidentally broke my gateway mset entry point, please help an out of touch noob?

Tomorrow when I am more than 30% sane I am going to give it ago! I have had 10x more fun with the damn thing just messing with it than I have actually using it for games. So much has changed since I stopped using my 3ds, I wont lie, its slightly intimidating trying to figure out whats what!

Hacking Accidentally broke my gateway mset entry point, please help an out of touch noob?

Thanks for the reply! In all honesty I only use this thing while away on business, I dont have any interest in gba/ds etc. I have rxtools installed as well (I dont even know how to boot it anymore haha) and I never used it. Thanks again tho! Is there an idiots guide to this? Id just be happy...

Hacking Accidentally broke my gateway mset entry point, please help an out of touch noob?

Hey guys, life took over and ive been out of the scene for well over a year. My o3ds is on 4.2u, I changed a setting stupidly in emunand and I can no longer access gateway via ds profile. I still have my blue card, but I guess my files are wrong because not a damn thing happens when I boot with...

    Sent two Xbox's by Mistake...

Cancelling a credit card wouldnt do anything. They still have all personal details and could contact the card issuing company if they were really hell bent on recovering losses. Its like having a dynamic ip, if you committed a crime on the internet and your assigned a new ip after, there are...

Hardware Nintendo 3DS is here to stay!

Is this supposed to be surprising? The 3ds came out in 2011, has a bit of a head start dont ya think? Add to that the much more consumer friendly price point, its no surprise at all. Love me 3ds, but come on.

Hacking Considering getting a DSTWO+, good idea or should I go Gateway?

Thanks for the clarification, I remember seeing the limit but did not want to misrepresent the number!

Based on that response, forget a flashcard, rxtools or whatever cfw you are interested in will be just what you are looking for. Good luck!

Hacking Considering getting a DSTWO+, good idea or should I go Gateway?

Boot up time is like any other game, install time is the issue. There is a theoretical limit, but its quite large and not something you really need to worry about.

There is nothing bad about them, hell I use them from time to time, but installing giant games is very time consuming. Again, how much this matters will vary from person to person. Rxtools will be just fine for you tho.

Hacking Considering getting a DSTWO+, good idea or should I go Gateway?

Only real benefit now is being able to run .3ds files, not all of us want to install .cia files. Up to the individual if its worth it or not. I have best of both worlds, gateway and rxtools.

I think this site posts too much 3DS stuff...

Call me crazy but when you visit a site with GBA in the name you should sort of know what to expect! As of right now the 3ds scene is exploding, where there is new and exciting, there is interest from the community. I am sure there are hundreds of other sites out there that offer the diversity...

From what I've heard about the Expansion Pack, the emulator used has some noticeable input delay and/or lag...would BLJs even be possible?

  • RichardTheKing @ RichardTheKing:
Apparently Nintendo adapted the 3D All-Stars emulator, instead of their old Virtual Console emulator - or, if nothing else, copying what fans have done.

I wonder...how would the gaming scene have changed had the Wii (and its bullshit motion controls and criminally neglected Classic Controller) failed?

  • AkiraKurusu @ AkiraKurusu:
Microsoft certainly wouldn't have experimented with the Kinect, that's for sure. Would Nintendo have released something like the Wii U early?
    Gift
  • AkiraKurusu @ AkiraKurusu:
That would've had a different name, so as not to tie it to its failed predecessor (something the Wii U dearly wished it has gotten anyway).

  • Veho @ Veho:
PlayStation 2 already had that EyeToy thing before the Wii, and a whole lot of games supported it. Microsoft would have had something like the Kinect even if the Wii failed.

For some reason, some Amazon reviews said it was a scam 'cause it launch there before they made an official launch on their webpage...anyway, according to people, it's good...it was gonna be my first option to buy when I wanted something to farm in games automatically, but then I backed down since tax fees and shipping would have costed me a fortune to Mexico...
