Hacking Question SX OS: Switch won't turn on after crash. Battery and dongle charged, still nothing.

You could copy over most of the content from your exfat card to a fat32. You will however not be able to copy your files over 3.5GBs, you will need to split them. You MAY also have trouble copying your Nintendo or Emutendo(emuNand Nintendo folder) so you will have to reinstall your nsp’s.

Hacking Question SX OS: Switch won't turn on after crash. Battery and dongle charged, still nothing.

Just from combing through posts an overwhelmingly amount of reports about corruption is associated with exfat. I use exfat despite that even though I too have experienced corruption from system crashes just because I am too lazy to split my large files. Exfat users need to be aware of this and...

Hacking Question Obligatory SX OS Ban Question

I'll try and toss my few cents in before answering your specific questions. Nintendo constantly update its firmware. With each update they add new features and security measures. Some of these are not all known to the general public. While the community have found/figured out most of the...

Hacking I'm using 2 SD Cards, how can I play original games on CFM?

What sxos and OFW version are you using? Depending on the game it may need a higher firmware to run or a patch. You could update your firmware to play them. Are you using emuNand? This is the safest way to update your system and test out your game to see if you have another issue. You could...

Hacking SX OS external storage managing

I have not updated this is a long time. I was hoping TX would pop out one for themselves or NX-Shell would get USB support added but until then try https://gbatemp.net/threads/usb-to-sd-file-copier-for-sx-os.522540/

Hacking How often do you backup you nand?

You should only need to have two back ups. One of a clean out of the box nand. This one you keep however long you have your console. Second is a copy of the nand you have your current official firmware on. This one you will throw away after you update you console and create a new nand backup...

Hacking Blank Squares in SX Pro Album

Sounds like data corruption. This can either be from a bad copy during transfer or the sd card is slowly showing it’s starting to die, ie bad sectors. A “fix” would be to backup, format you sd card and try copy it again.

Hacking New Folders (Switch/homebrew/etc) Aren't Showing Up

Mac does not do well with this but you have options. Okay first, do you see any homebrew you copied over? it is listed in SX menu under the homebrew tab. If not, do you see them if you copy them to the root of the SD card? (i.e. not in folders) If so, delete the folders, use FTP or NX-Shell...

Homebrew WIP USB TO SD File Copier...For SX OS

Sounds like corruption or a bug on my part. Which value is null? is it like usbhdd:/sxos/xci/(null) after you press X to copy? There is a progression percentage that displays during the copying. If it is instant copying for a large file then something went wrong. First, is your SD card full...

Homebrew WIP USB TO SD File Copier...For SX OS

I am not aware of this. Could you point me towards any reference of this? By that logic running my app or the sx os menu would cause a crash. Make sure you SD card is healthy. You should not crash due to a bad xci file. Normally a bad xci file would display as a white tile in the sx os menu.
