    I've tried using IOS 58 and 249, on both 'loader ios' and 'game' ios in USBGX. Wiiflow and CFG both give similar failures. Thanks for replying.

    I felt the same way. FFTA holds a very special place in my heart. I didn't like the second one whatsoever - the character customization of the first one felt completely gone. The crafting system was crap, too. I had really been looking forward to it, as well.

    Got my copy this morning, loaded it through disc channel (no Gecko) and it didn't even prompt an update! If anything happened, it was silent. game runs fine. I do have Priiloader configured to block disc updates - so either that did the trick, or my system (4.3u) didn't need anything changed...
