Review Approach:

Good
My name is Stealphie and this time i'm reviewing Mario Kart Tour.

The first thing i want to say, is that this game starts out really fun, but becomes unfun the more you play it. And i didn't use a single penny on this game. Ok, let's actually start the review.
Is this game fun? No. It starts out fun but gradually becomes more and more unfun if you don't give the money necesarry for more car parts (if you want to get them quickly atleast)
Does this game control well? No. It controls pretty badly, you can only: either drift, or either steer normally without drifts. I know you can use drift and motion controls for regular steering but it feels off and bad.
Does this game sound good? Heck yeah. The soundtrack is great, yeah i know it's mostly old tunes but it's still a great soundtrack.
Are the items fun to use? Yes, except coins. They we're never fun to use. Jokes aside, Mario Kart Tour brings back old items that we hadn't seen in quite some time and if you get 3 of the same item (depends on the track/car you're using) you will start a "Fever", you will be able to use the item infinitely while the fever lasts, and some are really op, like the Blue Shell fever.
Does the fact that this is a mobile game limit it's potential? Yes. A LOT. And the fact that it's a mobile game apparently makes the app required to shitty gacha shit.
Verdict
What I Liked . . . Looks pretty good for a phone game Soundtrack is great Items long gone from the series are back What I Didn't Like . . . Points system; aka "spend all your money if you want to do great" Fake multiplayer You can't acess 200cc unless you buy the gold pass Bad controls

Looks good and sounds great
3 Gameplay
Controls: I really dislike the controls on this game, you can only: either drift, or either steer normally without drifts. I know you can use drift and motion controls for regular steering but it feels off and bad. Items: They bring back some items which we haven't seen in ages, so that's nice. But when you get 3 of the same item (which depends on the track and car you're using) you have a "Fever". Think of the Golden Mushroom, but for any item and you are constantly boosting and having a star. GACHA-STYLE: No. "If you waste a lot of money, then you will MAYBE get a decent score". And the points system was implemented exclusevely for that.
- Lasting Appeal
This game is infinite; it will never end until Nintendo shuts down the servers.
3
out of 10
Overall (not an average)
Yeah this is the worst Mario Kart, it is really fun when you start playing but after you play if for a while (3 days-1 week, can vary) if just becomes unfun. If you want a Mario Kart on the go but don't want a Switch just play Mario Kart DS/7. 3/10 - Not the worst thing ever, but i would pass on this game if i was you.
