What is the best program to video edit

I want to have a a program that lets me play back and stuff such as remixes.
Does anybody know which is the best and free and please don't give programs with virus cause that is the reason why i am not searching on google but here where i can trust people

Ignored those two. They are immatures.

I can tell you. There are two best program for video editing software but it is not free. You can find a crack somewhere else or buy it.

CyberLink PowerDirector (exclude for MAC OSX)
Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 (exlcude for MAC OSX)
Adobe Premiere Elements (works for MAC OSX)

There are actually two definitive best video editing programs, neither are free though and require a crack if you want to use it for free.

Windows: Sony Vegas Pro (which ever the latest version is)
Mac: Final Cut Pro (same story as above)

I've seen what both can do and there are plenty of tutorials. They are very impressive programs used professionally in many cases. Like I said though, neither are free, but there are ways to get them for free.

Kinda meh, but free: Windows Movie Maker.
Not fantastic, not sure what all it can do, but it's there.
