ps3 memory card adapter. It will convert any ps1 and ps2 memory card data to psv files on the ps3 to run.

then you put a USB flash drive in the usb port and copy the file to the usb, then to the pc.

there is also the shark port (not sure if you can still buy it) http://www.gameshark.com/ps2/products/84/GameShark-SharkPort.htm

another option is if you have done the soft mod on your ps2, you can tranfer to usb hard drive using a file manager

You could alternatively use a Memor32 memory card and transfer your saves to that memory card.
The memor32 memory card has a micro usb slot so you can easily hook it up to your pc.

Another way is to get action replay / codebreaker / gameshark to backup your saves that way.
Or just use uLaunch to transfer them(requires modded ps2)

I use to use FlashFXP to transfer files too and from my PS2 and PC but you do need some sort of exploit on your memory card so you can load an ftp client to do it.
P.S. havent needed to do this in a long time
