1. What exactly does it do?
2. Can anyone give me a link to a good tutorial for installing it?
3. Can i still use PSN in retail games with it installed?
4. Is it easy to install?
5. Can anyone answer these questions?

Solution
1. At the moment runs and installs homebrew, adds an option to the game secttion call *Install package files

2. start by making a folder in your USB drive called PS3 and in that folder make another folder called UPDATE, then go to www.geohot.com and download his cfw (the thing that says jailbreakin blue letters) then copy it to your UPDATE folder, now all you have to do is go to your ps3's XMB and scroll to where it says System Update and choose to do it through USB (YOU MUST BE ON FIRMWARE 3.55 TO DO THIS)

3. At the moment yes all psn features are still there it might be blocked in the future and the cfw has no effect on your retail games you'll always be able to play them.

4. extremely i just showed you :)

5. I just did :)

DeadlyAnGeL91792 you forgot to mention they found a way to boot games of his cfw by simply modifying the eboot.bin :) it's on psx-scene and you can grab the file. just swap eboot with modified one and it plays Castlevania Lords of Shadows :) this is the 1st game tested and confirmed working so essentially backupmanagers may become useless in situations like this....

enjoy ps there is even a tutorial on how to patch your own games. LoL
