Gaming playing backups

No matter how many times i backup my disc whether through MultiMan 1.13 or Gaia 2.05 or below my games still do not run. Basicly it just puts me back into the ps3 menu and nothing happens i can load up MultiMan w/o the need of Lv2Patcher but Gaia only loads a black screen unless i use it. I just need to know how to run my backups or if im doing something wrong i know this is a simple answer that's why im not posting in forums.

Wut+Geohot cfw 3.55 i load a game and takes me to ps3 menu switching to waninkoko to see how that runs but would love to know what im doing wrong.

It doesnt matter if i have a disc in the drive or not as a matter of fact the only game i ever got to run was a japanese game Tales of Graces and they have a pkg to install not sure if that helps. just all my games dont run.

OK Wut+Geohots cfw does not seem to play backups for me however much luck with Waninkoko :) thanks anyways guys :) Now how to close this question LoL

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
